JAKARTA, KOMPAS - National Child Protection Commission noted, until mid-2010 there were 6 cases of children aged 11 months, 2.5 years, and 4-year addiction to cigarettes, from five cigarettes per day up to two packs per day. Data from the National Socioeconomic Survey (SUSENAS) also shows the prevalence of smokers who started smoking at age 5-9 years increased by more than 4 times during the year 2001-2004. While adolescents aged 15-19 years increased up to 144 percent during the years 1995-2004.
Of the 6 cases of children under five smokers, the National Commission for Child Protection is currently carrying out therapy in children under five who are addicted to cigarettes named Al (2.5) of South Sumatra. The family and the environment becomes the main factor causing a child to smoke. Fathers who smoke are more likely to ask for help from his son to help buy cigarettes for him. Then with a free, he smokes in front of his son. These indirectly affect the child so that the growing desire of a child to try to consume cigarettes. Various cigarette ads on television also affect the child's desire to try to consume cigarettes.
Apart from family and environmental terms, now often found wrapped candy that resembles a cigarette. Intended for children interested, but this would teach children to try real cigarettes. Moreover a merchants sell out his cigarette on all people, not even the children. It is easier for a child to consume cigarettes.
In terms of psychology, children who smoke tend to behave like an adult to attract attention. Once addicted, a child will do everything to get cigarettes. This triggers other criminal acts among children.
In terms of health, the earlier the age of cigarettes users the greater the likelihood of damage to the lungs. This is supported also by the child's immune system is not good enough when contaminated with cigarette smoke.
To overcome this problem, the first thing to do is to stop teaching kids to smoke so that children do not come to consume cigarettes. Education about the dangers of smoking is required in this process. If the child has been addicted to consume cigarettes, in addition to medical therapy, play therapy is the perfect solution to overcome them. It can balanced with the changing environment of children become healthy environment and away from the influence of smoking. Keep in mind that stress and tension will trigger the child to return to consume cigarettes.

CONCLUSION
The phenomenon of children under age to consume tobacco it is not foreign. Family and environmental influences are the main cause that triggered the use of tobacco by children.
The rise of tobacco use among children is difficult to control. But that does not mean can not be overcome. This can be overcome by stopping the influence of smoking on children. For children who have been addicted, it can be resolved with medical therapy and play therapy.
As a non-smoking prevention for children, parents should not smoke in front of children and parents do not ask for help a child to buy cigarettes. The influence of tobacco-free environment and education to children about the dangers of cigarettes is very necessary. This can minimize the use of tobacco to children.
